I Think I Have A Problem

Sooner or later it hits the best of us – we have spent more than we can afford to pay off.

We knew the credit card was for emergencies only, but grocieries here and there, some fast food in a pinch, and that new DVD box set has accumulated way faster than you thought it would.   And suddenly you have joined the millions of people in the United States with – credit card debt.

I know – I’ve been there.   Read my About page for more information on my personal credit card debt.  The fact is you are not alone.  In fact, the credit card companies are relying on the fact you won’t be able to afford to pay them back.

The are COUNTING on you to default.

The credit card companies love it when you can’t pay.   They will slap you with a late fee, raise your interest rate, hit you with an overlimit fee, and tack on more and more fees until finally they give you a call and say they will up your credit limit if you are having trouble paying.

Then they try and sell you “insurance” in case you lose your job or can’t pay your credit cards at all.

LET’S BEAT THEM AT THEIR OWN GAME.

My goal is not only to share my credit card consolidation tips with you, it is to expose what the credit card companies don’t want you to know.  They are counting on you to feel bad about yourself.  They want you to feel miserable and a failure so you will then use your credit card to buy comfort items.

DON’T GIVE IN!

I hope this site will give you the necessary tools and information to finally beat your credit card debt.  You might be thinking that 2008 and 2009 are not the best times to be tackling your debt in the middle of a recession. But it is the perfect time to finally get out of debt and start enjoying your life.

And keeping your money!

Let’s do it together, and remember, please keep me posted on how you are doing through comments and emails., ok?
